Up for auction the Marantz Audio Consolette Model 1 Tubed MonoPreamplifier with Marantz Type 4 Power Supply plus three Telefunken 12AX7tubes. The Model 1 and Type 4 are in good cosmetic condition for their age. Iam selling these as all original because I want the new owner to decide if theyshould be restored or left alone as very collectible show pieces. Again theseare being sold as untested “AS IS”. The only visible problem with the Model 1, is the floating sub chassis t...hat carries the 12AX7 tubes, was originally cementedto a rubber pad. The glue has deteriorated and the rubber needs tobe re-glued. Please see photo showing this issue. I have shipped many pieces ofvintage stereo gear, the Model 1 and Type 4 will be very well packed and doubleboxed for shipping.
