The camera body and lens have received a complete service. The rangefinder is bright and accurate. The viewfinder is clear. The shutter and counter are working and the curtains are in excellent condition. The camera includes an original take up spool and correct baseplate. The lens has a smooth focus and clean diaphragm. The glass is nice with no scratches or fungus. There is slight haze (minor) and some dust, but this will produce an excellent image. This is a matched set. The lens is coated and the body has a sharkskin cover so I think sometime between 1948 and 1950 the camera was back to the factory to have the vulcanite replaced and the lens coated. This is my best guess.
The cameras cosmetic condition is as follows. No dents or dings on the body. No brassing. There are some brightmarks on the top and baseplates, but overall it looks very nice. There are no chips in the vulcanite. The lens has no dents. The bezel is flat. The tubus has some marks common to a collapsible lens. The focus is marked in meters and the f stop scale is European. The cameras baseplate is 3/8". The lens cap is included. Overall I grade this body as a cosmetic 8+ to 9 (above average) and in perfect working condition. I thought it was worth spending the time and effort to bring it back up to factory specifications. You can ask questions and I encourage you to do so. I speak Leica.
