Late 50's Fender Tweed Vibrolux Project - All Original 1959
I received this amplifier in trade a while back. The guy I got it from said that it fires up, but doesn't pass signal, but that he could hear normal "hiss" coming to the speaker. With that information I decided not to turn it on until it could be checked out and properly serviced.
It looks virtually untouched on the inside. Tubes have obviously been changed at some point. On the outsid...e she's rough, but I literally have done nothing with it. I just don't have the time.
I did track down an *original* 50's handle which will be included with the sale. All of the rest of the handle hardware is there so that's a quick fix to the handle issue and will improve her looks quite a bit.
Throwing it out there to the world and hoping someone worthy gets a killer deal on a fixer up Tweed Fender. I truly hope you enjoy what I know is going to be some killer tone from this awesome amplifier.
