Apple TechStep Complete in Carry Bag Disks Cables ROM Packs Vintage Rare Up for auction today is an Apple TechStep, the most complete one I’ve seen for sale, and extremely rare. This unit was purchased from an ex-Apple Authorised Repairer, and he used this one to diagnose issues with macs that would come into his shop for repair. He sold his store in 2001, and as the new owners only wanted current products as part of the sale, he kept vintage gear like this. ...;This TechStep works perfectly, and comes complete in the case with four ROM packs (SCSI HD Tests v1.0, CPU Tests Vol 1, v1.1.1, CPU Tests Vol 2, v1.0, CPU Tests Vol 3, v1.0), all of the cables required, the proper Australian power adapter, four floppy disks (Getting Started v1.0, Report Generator and Apple TechStep Test v1.0, Blank 800K Disk, Blank 1.4MB Disk), and three manuals (User’s Guide, Troubleshooting Guide, CPU Tests Vol 2 Troubleshooting Guide) Reluctant sale as we have a baby and need the space / have no time for hobbies. Although it is sold in the condition advised above, the item is being sold with no returns or refunds, and will be provided as is, and as per the pictures. Pickup is available by appointment, and postage is at the buyers cost. Please note that the price listed should get this item to most places within Australia, unless you live in one of the states far from Queensland (like Tas, SA and WA), or live in an out-of-the-way location. I only charge actual costs, so any additional charges to get this to you will be at cost. Happy to combine postage. I use a courier to send, as they can collect from me and are generally cheaper, but if you live in an apartment, it might be best to provide an alternative postal address, as the item can’t be left unsecured. Note that I can buy packing materials for this auction, but this therefore increases the cost of shipping as I need sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, etc. If I don’t receive a specific request to do this, I will use what I can find to ensure costs are kept low.
