A fantastic set of Melbourne made cast iron kitchen scales- Even if you had no intention of using these they make a wonderful display in the kitchen, reminiscent as they are of simpler slower easier times and an endless supply of freshly baked cakes and biscuits!.....These have an unusual enamelled speckled green finish even to the cradle that supports the pan. All aspects, including the tin pan are in great condition and this lot comes with a HUGE stack of cast iron weights starting ...with a hefty 4 Pounder and down to a 1 ounce weight. Such a neat stack these may even be the original weights? An amazing set of locally made scales (not commonly found) and full set of weights.The scales are 25.5cm across the base and TOTAL weight with the weights is approx 6.5 Kilos.
