Antique Meissen Porcelain Group Figure - Napoleonic Soldier with Girlfriend
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 20cm (8") tall overall
ITEM DETAILS: As you can see, this beautiful quality antique Meissen figure is a second which has suffered some damage in places, namely the man's foot and arm have been broken off and crudely glued back on again, his hat has lost its left tip and he has lost a finger or two on his right hand. The woman has also suffered noticeabl...e damage to the front and side of her hat, and the plant at their feet is now a single leaf (see photos), but aside from this it's in very sound and bright condition and is well worth restoring. It's just as it appears in the photos, and as always there's a low start and no reserve so happy bidding!
