This was Henry Daniell's third of three different roles in the Rathbone Sherlock Holmes works, following the aforementioned ... Voice of Terror and Sherlock Holmes in Washington (1943). . . . . . . . . . . . . As the movie was filmed in black and white, and there is no mention of any wardrobe colors of the characters in the movie, critics anyone that saw the original movie just had to assume the leading lady was wearing green sometime in the movie. Only the color version showed that the final outfit was green.. . . . . . . . .
