Very sought after antique Dr Wall 18th Century c 1770 period Exotic Birds plate or dish with scalloped rim.
Measures 21.5cm diameter x 3.3cm high.
A beautiful original Georgian plate hand painted in polychrome enamels with blue scale rim.
In superb condition- no cracks or chips (apart from a couple tiny foot rim bites as you would expect for this age). Gilding still looks stunning, no visible rubbing or wear. Obviously always a cabinet plate as no scratch or knife ...marks evident anywhere to glaze.
