Freshly awarded in June 2019, here is a rare North Indian strain of Vanda tessellata ‘YourEye’ HCC/AOS. The large flowers feature cream-white sepals and cream-white petals overlaid with olive-green tessellations. The lip is exquisitely dark violet-blue. The flowers have excellent heavy substance and matte texture. This is a unique example of the North India strain as Dr. Motes po...inted in the judging process. The plant is the exact piece cut from my mother plant that got awarded in June 2019. A copy of the award certificate will be included. The plant is in active growth, showing the green root tips. It will be shipped bare root. Award flower photo by Carmen Johnson. Other pictures of the exact plant are mine and taken just before the listing.
Please read before bidding and buying:I am an orchid enthusiast and a student judge at the American Orchid Society with 8 years of growing experience and 23 AOS flower quality awards to the date.
My offerings include rare, unique and awarded divisions as well as select seedlings. I grow outdoors, which means strong, vigorous and disease-and pest-resistant plants with healthy blooms. While the outdoor culture makes them well predisposed for transitioning to any growing conditions, be aware that the plants may show some imperfections. Plants get regularly treated for pests and diseases.
The orchids are priced for an emergent collector like myself who is dedicated to build and improve their orchid collection and wants to pay fair price. Additionally, sharing with others is important to me (community is the backbone of orchid growing), and this is reflected in the reasonable pricing.
For auctions ending between Friday and Sunday, the paid plants will be shipped on Monday. For other days, the plants will be shipped within a few days after the payment is received. Please understand that once the shipment is delivered to the carrier (USPS), I cannot be responsible for what happens to it. While the pictures are taken at the time of listing, it is safe to assume that the flowers will be finished blooming by the time of shipping. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the flowers will be still open at the delivery. In case of inclement weather, I will postpone the shipment. Please advise. To stimulate and protect the sharing and growing flow, there are no returns allowed.
Feel free to ask any questions before the auction ends.
If you buy multiple items, please request an invoice for combined shipping which is more economic.
Your prompt payments are most welcome.
