Here is a beautiful little "wrestler" type all bisque German doll. She is referred to as "wrestler" type due to her shapely thighs and boots. She is a five piece doll with a pretty round shaped face. She is strung. No makers marks on her. I have seen this doll come along a few times. Some think she was made by Kestner, most likely due to the quality of the doll. She has a chip on the top of her left shoulder, a very teen...y indentation on her forehead and a shallow area behind her left ear, most likely from when she was made. These are small and can be seen in one of the photos. She has large fixed brown glass eyes with lushly painted lashes and strong brows. No cheek rubs. Her wig was made for her and is a silky mohair. A precious little thing! Her boots are tan with little black buttons and black heels and toes. No chips to her boots or slightly cupped fingers. Her cute little red polka dot dress and hat are not original to her but look cute on her and give her a little flirty look! She is quite a desirable doll and would be an outstanding addition to ones collection. She is 6 inches. Note-I have referred to her as "Wrestler" TYPE. She is not a true "Wrestler" doll or she would cost at least $2000 and more. I see a lot of little bisque dolls incorrectly called "Wrestler" when is fact they are not! Just to clarify.
