For your bidding pleasure today and possible purchase if youare the winner ... two very nice pristine bisque figurines depicting a man with asword and elegant clothing accompanying a lady also elegantly dressed with apurse. The detail like so many of this period feature incredible detail rightdown to the flowers in the hair, rings on the fingers and the fingersthemselves. Please observe the photos as my description really can neverillustrate them as well as, I hope, the photos do. Cour...ting couple? Two goodfriends? At The Ball? They are in excellent condition top to bottom with nodings or chips or repairs or missing parts. They have been together for manyyears and the seller - consignor wishes them to stay together in their new home.Consequently they are being sold as a pair. These are consigned from a majorsouthern California collector who has given them a smoke free environmentallycontrolled home for over forty years. As the photos illustrate both areliterally excellent.They stand 20 inches tall and the bases average 6 inches indiameter. I observe crossed arrows trademarks and the number 6808 on the base(see photo) but no exact match in my trademark research. Bloch? Eisenberg? Kalk? Tomany feathers on the arrow for all three so? I have included a close up of themand invite anyone with information as to maker or era to share with me. Theconsignor - collector - expert says and believes they are indeed pre 1900 inage. Whomever created them, they are excellent and need a new home. Thisauction is without reserve. Buyer pays shipping which will be in a recycled 200 lb rated box and clean new recyclable peanuts and will be insured. Please recycle thebox and filler as I only use new or as new components.
