This antique shawl is breathtakingly beautiful!Just take a look at the still wonderfully vibrant colors - the bright pinks , blues, purples, yellows etc against the background of black silk! As an artist, and also as a lover of antique fabrics, this shawl is the best I have ever seen.It is a large piano shawl - the inside black solid silk is 51 x 50 inches. Overall measurements including the fringe are approx 77 x 76 inches.This shawl is from the late 1800's according to the elderly gr...and - daughter of the person who was the original owner - a lady from the south of France, so it has been preserved in the family for over 100 years.It is in excellent condition - the only thing that needs doing is that the shawl fringe needs to be untangled.If you love these beautiful antique shawls you will find that they are wonderful items to brighten up your decor as they can be even thrown over a boudoir sofa and immediately transform an otherwise dull area into a glamorous charming area.It can even be worn on special occasions where you will be the envy of everyone else!Guys - your lady will love you forever if you present her with this shawl!
