Garde du Korps German 1902 Imperial officer sword. Monogrammed on the handle with the initials 'OD'. A very rare sword by anyone's standards, The handle still has 95% gilt remaining, the ruby eyes in the lionshead still exist, and the blade is absolutely a mirror finish, and not altered, chipped or scratched in any way. It is maker marked, but it's under the finial and too narrow to read. Only detracting point is the scabbard. kids used to sword fig...ht with it, and the scabbard is dented in numerous places. A beautiful piece, and unconditionally guaranteed.
