Rare and complete world atlas by Rigobert Bonne published in 1780. This Atlas well illustrated with 50 beautiful maps all black and white as issued and on double pages show the world as known in 1780. This atlas printed or in Paris or Switzerland is in French complete with the text as well. Nice original binding in brown leather with the title in red on spine. The binding is in good condition and solid, so are the maps with very minimal stains or marks as you can see on the maps. ...;Two maps, 17 and maps 17bis makes the it 50 maps. Rare spectacular maps of the USA west and East coast. Book size is 10 x 8 inches maps are on double page and size are 15.5 x 10 inches printed on thick paper all with Bonne name as « Ingénieur Hydrographe de la Marine » of King Louis XVI of France.
