Offering for auction a c.1830’s Ovoid Incised Blue Decorated Stoneware Jug. Fantastic Rare early incised blue decoration with a wonderful ovoid shape. Great hand slip blue decoration going all the way around the top of the jug. (Double line). Probably a one gallon jug approximately 13” tall by 8” wide at its widest point. Good condition, it has chipping along the bottom edge. No other chips or cracks. Please see my photos. No reserve auction. This is a good one! Real folk art.On ...Aug-20-19 at 04:51:33 PDT, seller added the following information:I am not sure of the maker, one Ebayer suggested Edward or Chester Webster early 1800 another believes the jug to be James Morgan Pottery New Jersey c.1770.  Thought I would pass the information along.  Thank you
