Vintage Apple IIe with Monitor, Floppy Drive, 10 Floppy Disks (Tested Working). Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I’ve owned this Apple ][e for several years now and have kept it as clean and like-new as possible. However, I’m going off to college now and can’t bring it with me. I’d love for it to find a new home where it can continue to be looked after.
Most of the floppies came with the computer and include DOS, Apple Writer, an intro to Apple ][ computers, Marble... Madness, and some other miscellaneous things. I purchased Robotron and Galaxian separately and both of those come with original packaging, manuals, warranty, etc. Every disc is tested and working except Marble Madness, which is a bit glitchy.
The Apple ][e itself was to the best of my knowledge manufactured in late 1982 making it one of the first on the market in 1983. The Monitor /// that comes with it was manufactured in December of 1982 according to the back panel. All controls on the monitor work flawlessly and all ports/connectors are fully operational. The power and all connecting cables are included, plus a cable for connecting a printer (which I do not have). The keyboard works fine and the speakers are fully functional and surprisingly loud. I’ve taken the liberty of cleaning the inside with an antistatic microfibre cloth several times over the years, so the inside is as clean as possible for an almost 40-year-old computer. The lid is detachable yet stays firmly in place. The floppy drive is fully functional with a bright red LED “in use light” and all. There is a plastic monitor stand to go with the system that shows no cracks or signs of wear.
Please note the beige coloring of the Apple ][e is NOT due to age and was a deliberate design choice. I have personally checked and as of July 29, 2019, under sunlight the color is indeed a direct match for Pantone 453C, the Apple shade of beige used in the original specifications.
Thank you!
