The wiring on this lamp looks to have been partially up...dated over the years most likely when the marble base was added. Overall a phenomenal functional lamp this should always be looked over by a professional before use. Both the lamp and the shades are in very good auntie condition with lightly aged original finishes and no structural issues to report. Estate fresh and begging for a new life back on display.
