Here is an extremely rare example of a late war "last ditch" Waffen Elite SD tunic made in the early months of 1945. It is made of fragile recycled wool and has a minimal lining of Italian type HBT rayon. Condition is dusty with some small moth damage on the back. The "toxic green" piped shoulder boards had tresse at one time but that has been removed (demotion or to reduce visibility?). Collar tabs are both blank as is usual for SD tunics.
