1977 Fender Left-Handed Stratocaster
How cool is this? Up for sale is a 1977 Fender Stratocaster Left Handed in a beautiful transparent blonde finish. This Strat has the look and feel and is truly a great vintage guitar for a Southpaw Strat lover. The finish on this instrument is interesting as it is more transparent and not that "thick ugly 70s" looking finish that most blonde 70s era Stratocasters we've seen are. That said, I've come across a few listings for blonde 1976 or 1977... Strats with a similar look to this guitar, and a peek under the guard and neck pocket indicate the body finish to be original as there are no signs of a previous finish. The guitar glows under a blacklight correctly and as it should further confirming the originality of the finish. Although the mint guard looks great, unfortunately the original pickguard, pickups and wiring harness have all been replaced with what appears to be 90s era Fender unmarked pickups / pots. Guard and assembly aside, this guitar is largely original and rare to see left-handed. This Strat comes complete with its original and rare left-handed hard case.
Year: 1977.Model: Left-Handed StratocasterSerial: S767485.Finish: Blonde.Case: Original left-handed hardshell case.Weight: 9lbs. 11oz.Condition: Very good condition, see above.Modifications: Replaced pickguard, pots, and pickups.Comments: Super cool '77 Left-handed Strat in its original Blonde finish!
