Vintage Fidelity Electronics Elite A/S Challenger model EAS (Elite Auto Sensory) Chess Computer, all COMPLETE!Exceedingly rare vintage EAS Elite A/S Challenger Series Chess Computer manufactured by Fidelity Electronics, in Miami, Florida, USA.
Rare opportunity to purchase one of these gorgeous Chess Computers built into a most attractive competition size board with competition size chess pieces. The Kings are 3.5 inches high! This Electronic Chess is in Excellent overall condition s...howing no noted flaws or signs of wear other than noted here. The set is complete with all of its pieces, instruction booklet. This is a large and elegant chess set with greatly defined detailed pieces displaying exceptional craftsmanship, hence highly sought after by collectors. The set is great for both beginners and advanced players allowing you to learn and play alone against the built-in computer. The player has a choice between eight different player levels, one being the lowest, eight being the highest level.
The board can also be used to just play against friends without the computer.
The computer automatically senses your move (auto sensory) as the moved chess pieces with the magnets built into each chess piece is automatically detected by the board. The computer calculates the next move and shows the coordinates of the next move on the built in LED display.
As mentioned, this computer comes complete with the original power supply, original chess pieces, original instructions, and even the original box. The box is not in very good condition, one of the pieces has a crack from drying, see second last picture. There is one little scratch on the side of the board, see last picture. Over the years, I noticed that the chess pieces dry out during the winter because of low humidity, during the summer, they expand and some of the magnets fall out. If that happens, you just need to glue them back into the pieces.
I do believe this set was manufactured in the 31st week of 1982 and the actual serial number is 560.
I will pack the original box inside another box to pretect the original box.

Here some answers:The board works flawless... no dead squares, all the squares work and detect pieces.The board was always in its box when not used; there are no brighter spots where chess pieces are when setup to play...YES! it is complete as stated, with all the chess pieces or figures, and all original.
