Antique Rockwell Porter Cable 12" Circular Saw. Model 542 Extra Heavy Duty. In Original Case With Tools. Condition is Used.Farm Fresh. In original case, with original tools, paperwork and grease. This is one MASSIVE saw. It does work, but I wouldn't recommend even trying to use it. It has the original 2 prong plug, which means it is un-grounded, and with the all metal case it could be a potential shock hazard in the event of a malfunction. AGAIN, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SAW.... I believe it could be made safe by replacing the cord with a 3 wire grounded cord but I'm not the expert. I don't even see how this could have been used in any practical application. Can be used as a table saw, per instructions in the manual. Is advertised as a 12" saw but the blades measure 11" and some change. It's a little crusty, and I'm going to leave it just like I found it. I did dump the sawdust out of the box. I picked ups ground for shipping, but I doubt they'll handle it. I can crate it up and ship it to a commercial address via motor freight. I will crate it up for a flat fee of $25.00 and I'll give a shipping quote based on your location. Thank you for looking.
