Up for auction is a pair of nice antique whiskey flasks. The flasks are part of a large no reserve estate auction being offered that includes a number of nice antique flasks. The two flasks are nice early examples. I found some similar examples on websites stating they were “Southern American”, South Carolina region and Civil War era. The one has a fine tight weave and the other an interesting weave with blue enamel like work. Both flasks have some minor loss to the weaving and are overall in substantially good and intact estate fresh condition. Both lids seal nice and tight. The glass also appears intact with no breaks or other damage. The flasks measure 7 1/4 and 7 3/4 inches tall.
