Please add us as a favorite seller, we list new items frequently!A rare antique 19th century Chinese silk traditional vest which is hand-sewn and contains the traditional Chinese swastika symbol. The piece is made of red silk with a black silk border and a blue-toned lining. The exterior is in fairly good condition for its age, with some pulls and signs of wear, including a small hole in the lower front panel. The red silk displays some traditional Chinese symbols, including the swasti...ka, which is a Chinese character and is used in classical Buddhist texts dating back to the 16th century. The blue interior lining shows more signs of age with scuffing and dirty sections, especially around the collar. The buttons allow for the front panel to be opened. They are beautiful gold-toned buttons with a pink glass center. The buttons and loops are all in good condition. The garment is most likely meant for a child or teenager.
