Vintage JBL L100 Century Speakers, Walnut Cabinets w/Grills, nice condition pair. Shipped with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. Modified speaker grill covering material. Woofers and mid-ranges were re-coned by an expert JBL Authorized repair center here in Austin in about 2005. One grill has broken wood on the bottom, but is covered by material. One tweeter is slightly damaged but still works fine as far as I can tell. Someone with sensitive ears may hear a difference. Replacement ...tweeters can be had on eBay for $70 including foam ring. Foam rings by themselves go for $10. So I would drop $80 for a new tweeter assembly and one foam ring then the tweeters will be good to go. The price has been reduced accordingly for the current condition. I have cherished and cared for these speakers for 40 years, but have finally decided to try a new integrated home theater system.
These are 55 pounds each. Each box will be larger than the 24x15x14 speaker dimensions since it goes without saying these will be well packed to protect them.
