(I've used the sample photos of the $20 bill to try to display both the magnification possibilities and the incredible usefullness of having the Ergotron articulating arm. The adjustable arm will make life better and more flexible for ANY low-vision person! My mother had no idea how much better this was than the fixed or semi-fixed monitor mounts until we ordered the Ergotron arm.)

Functional condition: Perfect, except that pressing the AF button for 4 seconds does not (per the manual) display system information on the monitor, and the option of turning off the built-in object lighting has been disabled.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent.
Notes: This belonged to my mother. She bought it with a 24" monitor for $1, 500 (with a refurbished camera) in February of 2012. I replaced that monitor with a 22" hi-definition monitor in preparation for upgrading to an HD camera, but her eyesight deteriorated before that would have been beneficial for her. The unit was used sparingly and was well cared for.
