Prior to posting, considerable amount of refurbishing session invested. Including but not limited to, detailed clean, hand buffed, replenished and deoxit some pertinent components and mechanical parts including knobs, dials and switches. Bench tested and in good bill of health ready to ...integrate any existing equally esoteric audio collection.
A day in a life of a DJ, sound engineer and A/V tech for some 3 decades, It's my conviction that any linear "tape" based format, analog or digital offers a far more superior audio dynamics and deeper natural low frequency than any non-linear digital media counterpart to date. However, I'm not here to argue, but rather express my subjective endoresment and support based on personal experience. Like the analog magnetic tape, Dat is no exception.
Dat is pretty much alive and kicking in my studio for personal and professional application. Perhaps it's time to rediscover tape for yourself..it might change your opinion on how to capture your next master recordings.
This model is no longer in production and becoming a hard commodity and very sought after due to it's high quality result of any studio or live recording project and ease of use like the venerable "cassette deck" that is still relevant in the digital culture of today!
So grab it while it lasts!
Like most vintages some superficial imperfections are almost expected but in no way impede normal functionally and will be hard pressed to find one in this state of condition.
Shipping and handling may vary on location.
