Up for auction the HH Scott 299B Integrated Amplifier. This 299Bis in very good cosmetic condition and comes fully serviced and ready to play.The 299B has a mix of vintage tubes, Telefunken, Sylvania 7189’s all tested. Itook the Scott to my local McIntosh Certified Repair Shop for a pre auctiontune up, the following work was done.All switches, controls, connectors and sockets were cleaned andtightened.A capacitor value and leak test was done. Failing capacitors inthe power supply and... audio driver circuits plus the main filter were replaced. Atotal of 14 capacitors were replaced.A power supply, voltage, ripple test was done.A bias and harmonic test was done.A power regulation test was done.A performance value test was done, it showed the amp producing 22watts per channel at 8 ohm.All functions were bench tested and work as they should.
