&n...bsp; This antique black silk pink floral embroidered Manton de Manila piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk fabric background, with a contrasting pink silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work of flowers and vine leaf designs embroidered throughout. There is a hand knotted macramé black silk fringe measuring 19 inches long surrounding the entire shawl with rounded corners. The shawls fabric square measures 50 by 54 inches. This quality made Manton de Manila Canton Chinese Cantonese style Spanish Flamenco shawl is in good condition, with only some tangling of the fringe trim. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
