S Newhouse Kenwood NY number 5 DLS Trap. This is the nicest 5 I have ever had. Some old light rust and some nicks. The pan crossmember is marked Rome on the bottom side. The spring crossmember is marked Rome on the topside looking down on the trap near the left spring. Both springs are weakly marked. The marks look like Oneida Community Ont. The swivel is free. Suggestions have been made the dog is not original and also the base was redone for the new replacement dog. I do not know anything about what the trap looked like when it was fabricated or " if any " alterations have been made. The trap is in condition now as when I found it some years ago. Re: The springs. The same above holds true for the springs. If the springs were changed I do not know. I am offering the trap for sale as is.
