Large VIntage TWA Airlines Plane Advertising SignUp for bids is this Large VIntage TWA Airlines Plane Advertising Sign. Measuring 21" high x 32 1/4" wide x 2" in depth. The sign depicts TWA's twin globe logo that was designed by Raymond Lowy in 1959, adding abstracted gold globes to the corporate TWA symbol that had been in use for some time. This sign has 8" high red and white plastic letters with a slight right slant that are removable from the wood board they ...are attached to. The globes are made of gold gilded metal dowels and the frame is gold gilt wood. There are metal strips on the back with holes in order to hang the sign with.The condition is very, very good. No chips, cracks or breaks.
