Good condition original pre WWI ImperialGerman Model 1871 Mauser bayonet that is maker marked “W.R. KIRSCHBAUMSOLINGEN” on the left ricasso and dated 1875 on the spine. Unit marked“13.L.R.7.183.” on the left side of the guard for the 13th LandwehrInfantry Regiment, Company 7, Weapon 183. Blade has gray patina with some pitting. Guard is similar condition. Brass grip has even color and some small dings. Lockbutton and leaf spring function fine. A good representative exam...ple of a M1871Mauser bayonet for your collection.
