Up for auction is a very cool, rare swamp cat attacking a white pony beaded scene on a Plateau Bag. it is Completely beaded. it is 8" tall by 7" wide. One side is a floral design while the other is the swamp cat. Most collectors have heard of the mythical swamp cat, that would rise on the full moon. This one shows the swamp cat attacking a horse. A cool piece of beadwork. Buffalo Hide on a trade cloth liner. This piece is out of the Lutheran Reverend Ernest Von Kronwitter that wa...s from Germany but was doing Missionary work in the Dakotas and other Indian Reservations in the early 1900's He collected these items and took them back to Germany before World War 1 broke out.
