This auction is for an autographed baseball by Baseball Hall of Famer Frank Thomas and actor Tom Selleck from the movie Mr. Baseball.Thomas signed this ball way before his autograph became "FT35" as you'll see it these days. The ball itself is in excellent condition.
Also included is the 1992 Upper Deck baseball card from the 1992 movie. The ball and card come in a very nice case that measures about 7" x 8" at the base and the clear top measures about 7" wide x5" deep x7....5" tall.The ball is a beautifully autographed American League Bobby Brown, President baseball made in Costa Rica. The ball dates the autographs to the exact time period. Unfortunately, during a move, I have lost the brass nameplate that goes on the front of the case (see pic #9).
We owned a movie theatre during this time period and I got this at a ShoWest convention in Las Vegas.While I don't have a COA for the ball, I know it's authentic and if you want to get it authenticated and for any reason it should not pass, I'll offer a fully refundable one year guarantee for your purchase.Shipping this ball, card and especially the case is expensive. If you only want the ball and card, I will happily adjust the shipping to $4.95.
