I'moffering for sale famous and great cassette walkman from my collection - Sony WM-DD9. It's perfect Sony's Direct Drive (DD) machine. The only one with 2 separate DDs for Forward and Reverse playback. Moreover this is the fastest auto reverse machanism in cassette walkman!!!Walkman was serviced. There was a 2 missing tooths in gear (for reverse mode) that was replaced - took from other... DD9. Pinch rollers was also replaced because they was deformed. Pulleys and wheels was cleaned from old melted belts. Some internal switches was cleaned because of bad contacts. New belts was installed.Sound - one of the best - "It's a Sony". Moreover - this walkman is the best of DD's!!!Alloperations was checked: Playback, FF, REW, auto-reverse, tape type SW, Dolby NRSW, EX DBB, Hold SW and all working as it should. I've listened about 2-3 full cassette tapes to check if everything OK. And still listening...
