Great lot 10 original vintage c. 1948 cello/tin litho pinback buttons - Henry Wallace for President (with running mate Taylor) of the US - FDR’s running mate veep in 1940, he was bumped in 1944 for being too progressive by the powers responsible for FDR’s 4th time on ballot - ran in ’48 against the man who replaced him in Democratic primaries, Harry Truman, and lost - but has always been a great part of progressive politics history - nice lot of buttons form that race - BONUS - o...ne metal clip on - this lot represents the various constituencies Wallace was speaking - youth, students, women, labor, etc… & a nice photo button too - all nice, some have more wear than other but all generally nice - 2 missing pins in back - a great collection of US left political history.I COMBINE SHIPPING - PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE IF MULTIPLE AUCTIONS WON - THANKSReturns are accepted on domestic sales only but only if the item is in the same condition as it was shipped in.
