Amongmy Canadiens pucks available this week is this "Rawlings" affair, sometimes mistaken by novices as being an official game puck. "Official" is indeed on the backlogo, but this type is a souvenir puck, reportedly sold in stores in the 1972 to1974 time frame. Those are actuallyrubberized logos both front and back, crested on a Biltrite "B1"slug, meaning that "MADE IN CANADA" appears in tiny raised letters onone of the flat surfaces, (in this case, you can see it beneath t...he Rawlingslogo), but the side does not have "OFFICIAL - CANADA -OFFICIEL". A few light surfacescratches are to report here, but no chips or nicks. Please check out my other Habs pucks up forgrabs, with combined shipping explained below. .....ABOUT PAYMENT/SHIPPING: Because I’mfortunate to live close to the Canada-U.S. border, (I’m actually in Canada), Ican send off your package from either side, depending on where you live, resulting in quick delivery and no customs issues/delays. So then, ifyou’re in the U.S., your package will be sent via the USPS and if you’re inCanada, it’ll be sent by Canada Post, (despite what it says on this page and onyour invoice). Although it states that I don't ship outside of North America, I still can - you may inquire about rates. ......Shipping in the U.S.: One puck can go first class for $5.50, with 2-3 pucks in apriority flat rate box for $9 and up to 9 going for $9 in a priority flat ratepadded envelope. Canada: $11 for one-puck winners if you're in Quebec or Ontario, $14 for those in Manitoba and $16 for other provinces in Canada. One or two puckscan be added for $1 extra. (I can now ship up to 24 pucks anywhere in Canada for $17 (U.S.) thanks to Canada Post's new flat rate mailing boxes). Please take note that 11-something % of what you pay for shipping goesto eBay – yes, eBay takes a cut of the shipping charge.……. PLEASE, PLEASE, refer to this description for shipping charges and disregard, (if different), whatever it says on this page, elsewhere on eBay, any “calculator” affair orthe eBay notice after the auction. (It’s best to wait, and PLEASEWAIT, for my invoice if you’re not in the U.S., Quebec or Ontario, or have won multiple items – the shipping charge will likely be incorrect). Please scroll down the invoice youreceive from me as I add anote at the bottom. If you’re in the U.S., Quebec or Ontario, have won one auction and would like to settle up right away, that would begreat – go right ahead. …….I always appreciate receiving payment quickly, especially from my American winners. Ifyou can settle up fast, I'll be able to get your package off to you on Fridaywhen I head to the U.S. side.
