For sale is a rare unused head bust for a cane handle or bottle stopper made by Meissen in the 19th century. These are often either attached to a cane already or have the cork screw metal piece attached or a piece of cork but it is hard to find them with the hole empty underneath. Ready to be used in any which way you can imagine :) The head here is of a lady wearing a white cap with a blue trim and wearing a purple shirt of which we only see the collar area. The face is extremely well... done down to the teeth which I tried to show in the pictures. The piece is in superb condition with maybe a tiny spot of wear but about as nice as you will find. I don't think it was ever used as intended. The underside is marked with the blue crossed swords mark as shown. First choice. The head is about 1.75 inches tall, 1.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. Stopfer Flaschenstopfer Flaschenkorken Stockgriff German Germany Korken Figure figurine figure Figur
