A rare (only 5035 made) Rolleiflex 3.5 E3 with a Schneider Kreuznach Xenotar lens. Everything checks out on this camera. Shutter working on all speeds including self timer, focus smooth and accurate, film transport functioning properly, no missing pieces or parts, leather in good condition, removable viewfinder bright and clean. I have not tried the flash port. The only flaws (in my opinion and yes it's an opinion...subjective creatures that we are) are a couple of dents on the f...ront cowl. They are on focusing knob side of the camera. They have been touched with some black paint (not by me) and looks ok. They are the size of the head of a large nail perhaps. See photo 3. They are not significant enough to effect any function or alignment. It appears someone tried to install the lens cover upside down so there is some paint rubbed off on the taking lens housing. Not scratches or gouges just minor paint loss. See main photo. I have shot a couple rolls with this and love the results. Maybe more than my 2.8 Xenotar. At any rate I'm selling this collectible model as my collection is bankrupting me. This camera is an old camera and I will stand by my statements of it's functionality. Cosmetics are a subjective matter. I consider this to be in good condition. You need to examine the photos and ask questions as you like. It comes with a satin cap in decent shape and a good leather case. What you see is exactly what you will get. A fully functioning and rare Rolleiflex. Mechanically sound and clean and clear lenses...Cosmetically as pictured in listing.
