Egyptian Silver Platter, 11. 75 " Diameter, Charioteer Design; Hallmarked, Heavy

Offered for sale is an Egyptian Silver Platter, 11.75" in diameter. It is hallmarked , with an Egyptian Lotus hallmark. I've included pictures, but have trouble reading the silver content and any indication of place of making. It displays a design showing a charioteer. I have just listed a smaller, lighter piece that you should also look at. .
The piece is highly reflective. and in excellent condition. It isn't tarnished, but shows few... signs of polishing--the finish is quite pristine. It comes in a white satin-lined, red velvet covered presentation box that has a brass eagle emblem with red, white and blue stripping on the top of the case. The background story on the piece (and the second one I've listed) is that it was presented as a welcome gift many years ago to an American travelling to Egypt for diplomatic talks.
The piece weighs 1 pound, 5.5 ounces on my postal scale, or 608 grams. If you can decipher the hallmark to determine the silver content, you can calculate its scrap value. Just using a low content guess of 84%, you can still come up with a safe estimate, if you are concerned with that. As it is, it is a lovely piece of Egyptian silver, heavy guage silver in a beautiful presentation case, with no flaws. I am offering this at a minimal starting price, with no reserve, assuming it will reach its true value. Please contact me if you want more pictures or information.
