Terrific Art Deco Bach Cooper Sterling Silver Case H/M B’ham 1925 Petrol Lighter This sterling silver cased petrol lighter is hallmarked Birmingham 1925 and has maker’s initials of “ B & C” for Bach & Cooper; Silversmiths, Broad Street, Worcester; known for their silver cased lighters.The lighter is a long narrow square “stick” with an engine turned wavy line finish. It has a small flip arm to expose the wick and a small flint wheel set to one side. The base has a sliding ...“door” to expose the filler cape. There is also a hole with a screw thread at the top; this may have held a flint spring, but this is missing.The flint wheel is not turning and may need an oil. The case is in very good condition a couple of insignificant nicks and 2 minor impact dints. The photos form part of the description and condition report.
