The plate has a light green crackle under-glaze that indicates it is celadon. The central circular symbol on the top is the character for double happiness and longevity called a shòu.
The plate is in excellent condition and measures abo...ut 10.5" in diameter. It weighs about 1 pound 12.5 ounces.
The Xuande Period of the Ming Dynasty lasted between 1426-1435, but the mark on this plate is likely apocryphal (honoring the historical period, but not made during that period). The plate likely dates to the mid 20th century.
This plate was purchased in May 2019 at an estate sale in Glendale, Arizona. Unknown provenance before that.
