Up for auction is my vintage original 1968 Fender Telecaster body. The body was refinished a couple years back by Guitar Mill in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with an authentic aged Olympic white nitrocellulose finish. It was played and has some extra natural light wear and tear. The body is solid with no extra pickup routes. Unfortunately, when I was young and foolish, I lowered the neck pocket approximately 1/6“ because I felt the bridge saddles were sitting too high for my taste at ...the time. The body was poorly refinished when I bought the complete guitar several years ago from Guitar Center Sherman Oaks. The sides may have been a little over sanded and the 5th string ferrule spacing seems a little off. Not sure why that is. The body is ash and weighs approximately 4 1/2 pounds. I added an old screen shot that I saved from The Guitar Mill Facebook page when the body was in their shop stripped to the bare wood. I was ready for a change and transferred the neck and original hardware to an MJT body. I’m happy and not looking back. Please feel free to ask questions. (I’m not selling the neck or other parts). This auction is for the body with the string ferrules and input jack cup. Guaranteed authentic and as described.
