Up for auction is a 1998 Kansas City Royals game used Turn Ahead The Clock jersey of #25 Rich Dauer. Dauer was the Royals 3B coach for the 1998 season. He can also be seen in stills from the game when Johnny Damon hit a triple. It was worn on 7/18/98 vs the Mariners.The jersey is manufactured by Majestic and features a satin style vest with two buttons near the neck. It is gold with Royals screen printed on the front as well as the KC logo with the numbers and letters for Dauer stitche...d on. It is a size 48 which is flag tagged on the bottom of the front Majestic tagging.This is 100% original and not a replica/authentic made to appear as real.It was obtained directly from Dauer through a local collection and purchased from the original buyer. Also included are the original pants from the game. They are white and feature gold/blue trim going down the sides and have Dauer's info strip tagged in the waistband.These jerseys are incredibly rare and do not come up for sale very often, if ever. The Mariners flipped to a maroon sleeveless jersey with backwards hats, silver helmets, and then spray painted all of their cleats silver.Their opponent, the Kansas City Royals, wore some of the loudest jerseys ever made. Bright yellow satin vest style jerseys with Royals across the front and their team logo, blue under shirts, and striped pants, they also wore gold helmets.
