This Vintage 1935 Selmer Paris Radio Improved Alto Saxophone is in remarkably good shape for its age. The body shows absolutely no sign of repair, or dent removal, and the neck has not been damaged in any way. The only signs of use are two small metal patches near the left and right thumb areas. The pads are actually quite functional, although there is a need for a PC to make it playable on a high level. The main issue with this cool saxophone is that it has been in a case for a long t...ime and it is quite musty as is the case. A good technician can easily deal with that issue. The body itself and the neck are in amazing original, not damaged condition. The lacquer is a puzzle for me—it is clear, not faded, but not deep.
