This marvelous courtier doll costume was faithfully created from a pattern in an antique Harper's Bizaar doll magazine from 1885.
Authentic in appearance with no detail left out, this amazing dress will delight your favorite bebe. This gorgeous princess cut embroidered confection of a dress is made of heavily embroidered cotton lace over petal pink silk batiste.
Delicate, plump, poufy silk rosettes adorn the front and neckline. The back of the dress is designed t...o flare out in the classic, lovely fashion of that bygone era. The wide neck has a silk drawstring closure to allow for adjustment. This dress looks it's fabulous best paired with a full petticoat and/or bustle.
The equally gorgeous bonnet is iced with the poufy silk ribbon, wax sprigs, and delicate feather plumes. The relaxed brim features the same French silk rosette trim, and is topped with a most beautiful cluster of antique silk roses.
