The date code on the end is not readable, but all other parts on the bass dated to 1975. The nut is 1.51" wide and the neck is 0.88" thick at the 1st fret and 0.99" thick at the 12th fret. It is straight and the truss rod works. The frets show only minor wear and it was in very good playing condition while still on the body and had no major issues. The fretboard, back of the neck and headstock are in very good condition with no major wear. Pretty much near... perfect all around and one of the nicest you'll ever see! There are no cracks, repairs or other major issues. No extra holes or modifications and the finish and decal are original. This part was removed from a genuine American made 1975 Fender Jazz Bass. The serial number started with "679", the pots dated to September 1975 and the pickups had 1975 date codes.I may have more parts from this guitar up for sale, so please check my other listings.
