RARE 2006 70th Anniversary Roy Orbison Gibson ES - 335
Item History & Price
Roy's guitar as seen on "Black and White Nights"was his mainstay Gibson Ebony ES 335 used throughout his career. His original guitar was inspected, documented and reproduced by Gibson, There was an initial run of 70 guitars, and the second run of 200 guitars. The differences in the guitars was the serial numbering fonts used as well as a postage stamp on the back of the first run head-stock , which the second run did not have. The binding was whiter on the first run, and on the second run the binding has a more naturally aged look. Other than that they both were direct replicas of the ES 335 that Roy Orbison used throughout his career. Complete with Roy Orbison truss rod signature cover, appointments of Roy's 335 and the limited run serial number.

This guitar has been in my collection for some time now. I have decided to sell part of the collection since I am not that involved in collecting any longer. This guitar has been in the case for most of its life and only played a handful of times. I installed a pickguard and truss rod cover and kept the originals for the guitar off of it so they would not be damaged. The original pick-guard still has the original covering on it-see pics. The original case is included. If you have any questions, please email me.
I just lowered the price so please don't try and low ball me, only reasonable offers will be considered.
