CHINESE PORCELAIN MONOCHROME COPPER RED GLAZE VASE The featured item represents a Chinese monochrome porcelain vase that measures approximately 12 1/4" tall, 3" in diameter at the opening and 4 5/8" across the foot ring.The vase has short foot, bulbous body, cylinder neck with raised band in the middle and garlic shaped mouth. The exterior is finished in copper red glaze and the opening's rim, interior and base are glazed in crackled white. The foot rim is left unglazed and ...has rough course texture. Looks like the vase was fired in sand to prevent the glaze running to the foot and the base. The base is stamped in red with "China" and bears two paper labels, one partial.Note that the true color of the glaze is dark bloody red (like in photo #2 & 5) but on some of the pictures it appears in different hues due to the flash used.The item comes in well-preserved condition with no damages found but normal wear like some scuffs, marks and scratches here and there. Natural to the glaze crackles. Other production flaws and imperfections.SOLD "AS IS"
