The photo came from the estate of a veteran who participated in Operation Dragoon, the invasion of southern France in August 1944. This is an Original vintage photo and NOT a reprint. There is an old pen note on the back that reads “German plane shot down”. The dime...nsions are 2 ¼” x 3 ⅜” and the overall condition is Excellent with very light wear.
