Vintage Selmer Series 9 wood bass clarinet, NOT WORKING, serial number is S4684, serial number is stamped on both the upper and lower joints, includes neck and bell, all keys are present, overall plating on the keys is in decent shape, it could use a good disassemble and cleaning\polishing, the pads are a older pads, it will definitely need pad work, adjustment and alignments in order to get playing again, the wood of the upper joint is in good shape, there are some wear and tear scrat...ches throughout, nothing major at all, the upper joint has no signs of crack repair, the actual middle tenon is intact without any cracks, the tenon cork is old and brittle, it is missing a threaded strap ring located on the back side of the upper joint, the wood of the lower joint is in good shape as well, it has some wear and tear scratches throughout, nothing major at all, the actual wood bell tenon is intact without any cracks or chips, the thumb rest screws is intact and secure, this does have the alternate Ab\Eb key in the left hand pinky cluster keys, the bell tenon cork is old and brittle the neck is included and in poor shape, the neck is pulled down and is puffy on both sides, the octave key on the neck is functional, the neck cork is old and brittle, some dings and scratches throughout the entire neck, the neck is a tunable neck and it does pull out, overall plating on the neck is poor, the bell is included and in ok shape, the key on the bell is functional, the bottom of the bell bow guard strip is flat, there is no peg assembly installed on the bell, the peg holder has been installed on the back side of the lower joint, overall plating of the bell is in ok shape, there are some dings and scratches throughout the bell, the bell lip\rim is slightly wavy, there is no mouthpiece included, there is no peg included, case is included and in poor shape(original).
